Equens Italia is the technological outsourcer for the Card Processing services offered by Key Client Cards & Solutions (ICBPI Group) to its Customers.

Modularity, innovation and efficiency are the main features of the Equens Italia proposal for Card Processing services; Equens Italia offers complete solutions on which banks can build additional value.
Features offered cover issuing, acquiring and back end management services.
Equens Italia and ICBPI Group are among the processors offering gateway services according to Berlin Group standards, enabling banks to connect directly to other European processors. These activities position banking systems to evolve towards the new compliance model EAPS-SEPA.

Card Issuing

Equens Italia offers infrastructural and software services which let banks issue debit, credit, revolving and prepaid cards.
The cards may be issued for domestic brands Bancomat/Pagobancomat and international schemes Visa International, Visa Electron, V Pay, Mastercard, Maestro.
Equens Italia, as Domestic Clearing House (Centro Applicativo) , manages the entire authorization and accounting process for domestic debit cards.
It also supports authorization, clearing and settlement for international schemes and it provides Banks with a system for detection of potential fraud related to issued cards.

Card Acquiring

Equens Italia solutions allow a complete POS and ATM acquiring process management through a full back end infrastructure and the connection with major national and international schemes (Pagobancomat, VISA, Mastercard, Diners, Amex, CUP, JCB, AURA, EAPS - Berlin Group).

Certifications

Equens Italia has both national and international EMV certification and it is PCI-DSS certified.
